TRI Partners, Inc. presents the 4th Annual Central Florida Diversity Learning Series
Unlocking Opportunities — Exploring Inclusion as Courageous Learners
What is the 2015 Series about?
2015 is going to be an exciting year! We will be halfway through the second decade of the 21st century. The U.S. demographic changes that were predicted more than two decades ago have come to fruition in our schools, businesses, media, communities and organizations – literally in every aspect of our lives.

The 2015 Central Florida Diversity Learning Series will seek to answer the question, “How Can We Unlock Opportunities for Everyone?” The world is changing and the impacts of being a global citizen are being felt in every corner of our world… no matter where we are, who we are or what we do.

Our Series, through six highly-interactive education sessions, will address three questions:

1.
How can we, individually and collectively, unlock opportunities for our ever-increasingly diverse communities to ensure that we are more inclusive?
2.
How can we remain courageous learners – recognizing that in this age of information overload, it is our responsibility and accountability to stay ever-vigilant learners, teachers, role models and mentors?
3.
How can we, individually and collectively, remain future-focused so that our inclusion efforts keep pace with and anticipate the changing needs of those we currently serve, will serve and hope to serve?
What are the sessions?

Methodologies for our Sessions:
The learning methodologies for the 4th annual CFDLS are intended to address the diverse learning styles and needs of all participants. The sessions will be experiential and adopt multi-media technologies. All facilitators will be guided to use a variety of methods in each session which will include – but may not be limited to – storytelling, audio presentations (i.e., music, voice), visual / video presentations (i.e., PPT, DVD) and Internet media, if available (i.e., YouTube). In addition, every session will link to our theme: Unlocking Opportunities – Exploring Inclusion As Courageous Learners.

Each session will include print resources and references so that participants may continue their education on the topic beyond our session. We will also provide post-session resources on our website. Sourcing of presenters will be intentionally diverse – to appeal to the variety of needs and backgrounds of our participants.
